Welcome to the african-rainbow foundation

 

The african-rainbow foundation is a non-denominational, politically independent, non-profit foundation with the purpose of supporting a healthy development in Africa, especially by

 

  • supporting needy people in their education with school supplies and tuition,  means of subsistence, clothing,  and medical care
  • developing, organizing and realizing educational and school building projects
  • supporting health education programs
  • supporting environmental projects

 

The main focus is the support of children.

Tanja and Klaus-Hasso Heller founded the african-rainbow foundation in August of 2005. It pursues its own projects in Tanzania and in the Congo and also has a special budget to support projects of other organizations. In addition the foundation supports primarily small organizations and projects assuring that all the funds are accounted for and not wasted in administrative costs or otherwise.  Each project is thoroughly examined before any donation is made.
