On July 23rd, 2009, Reverend Erord Simae visited from Sumbawanga, Tanzania. Reverend Simae has been in charge of the construction of the African-rainbow foundation and still takes care of the school. He reports that since the school’s beginning in January, 2009, 180 students have been enrolled: 100 girls and 80 boys. Nine teachers from Dar es Salaam have also been hired. Additionally, the school received the State’s Secondary School accreditation.
Four classrooms are expected to finish construction by year’s end based on the great demand. Furthermore, computers as well as school books need to be purchased. One book is currently shared between three and five students. Even here there is great need
.
Reverend Simae extends his thanks in the name of the students and teachers to those who have participated in the building of the African-rainbow school.

Surprise Following the Inauguration of a New Production Hall
As a fortieth birthday gift for their CEO Klaus Heller, Aerzen colleagues from all over the world gave money to the African-rainbow foundation. During the grand opening celebration of the new production center, Bettina Lachmann presented a check of 16, 400 Euros. After hearing of the foundation, many co-workers and businesses involved later also collected money so that the final sum came to 20.493,40 Euros!
