Our secondary school has continued to develop very well.
We offer up to 800 young people a school place with which they can create the basis for a positive future.
We are especially proud of the high number of female students, as it is often the boys of a family who are chosen first when there is a chance to attend a secondary school. Girls get this opportunity far less often. Yet they are the ones who take on responsibility and work for the family. In addition to various classroom buildings, a girls' dormitory and a dining hall have been built on the school's extensive campus.
The school already enjoys a good reputation: it recently ranked 7th in the regional secondary school ranking.
Our aim is to ensure that the african-rainbow secondary school remains a school attended by young people from very poor backgrounds and that it will be one of the best schools in Tanzania in the future.
